ComLegal is a professional association of chartered accountants and attorneys built on the experience of the four founding partners, Riccardo Bonivento and Umberto Zagarese, who have been enrolled in the Association of Chartered Accountants for over twenty years, Paolo Chiarelli who has been admitted to the Bar in Padua for more than two decades, and Cosimo Lombardi, who has been practicing law for approximately 15 years.
In order to meet the needs of its clients—businesses, organizations and individuals that demand decisive responses in keeping with the dictates of the market—accountants Riccardo Bonivento and Umberto Zagarese and attorneys Paolo Chiarelli and Cosimo Lombardi set up a new professional association and extended it to the other professionals already with the firm, accountant Emmi Selmin and attorney Angela Zuolo.
Riccardo Bonivento is a corporate and business consultant. He has acted as government commissioner in extraordinary administration procedures for large enterprises in crisis situations and serves as expert advisor to the courts in important cases of financial distress.
Umberto Zagarese has significant experience in the field of Italian and international taxation; as a partner in international professional firms belonging to the networks of the leading auditing companies, he has coordinated important corporate restructuring and tax planning operations. He has assisted numerous companies with the preparation of group transfer pricing and the incorporation of new foreign companies.
Paolo Chiarelli provides advice on contractual and corporate issues, serves as director and statutory auditor to industrial and financial firms and offers professional legal services. He also provides trust services.
Cosimo Lombardi  works primarily in finance and corporate management, specifically organizing and closing financial transactions, financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions. He has 15 years of experience with leading financial institutions and has also been in charge of corporate compliance, legal affairs, equity holdings and corporate finance, an area in which he has overseen important financing operations.
ComLegal has a staff of 15: the four founding partners, two full partners, five professionals enrolled in the Association of Chartered Accountants, three professionals with university degrees in Economics and Business and three employees.
